Calling All Sewers
We need as many sewers as possible to help out with the Marching Band flags. All you need to do is simple straight sewing. The more the merrier and it will make the work go faster. Please contact Geri Franquist at (480) 314-4109 or gfranquist@susd.org to sign up to help. Thanks.
Band T-Shirts
The ordered t-shirts will be in this weekend, and will be delivered at Tuesdays evening practice. For those who have not paid, please have a check or cash brought in/DMBB, $8.00 per shirt ordered.
Washington DC Trip - Finalizing Airlines, Hotels and Buses
We now have 132 people singed up for the Washington DC trip (101 students and 31 parents). We want to ensure the timing of the flights to give ourselves plenty of time to witness the historic inauguration and make the flight back home. We also want to ensure we are at one airport. We will be finalizing the flights/charter, hotels and buses this week. This is a last call for those that have not signed up. Please email Mike Baranack at mike@baranack.com if you have not signed up yet.
Kudzu - We have over 50 people signed up, but have only raised $726
Thank you to all of the people that have signed up for Kudzu. Please email Mike Baranack at mike@baranack,com if you want to sign up. Only 8 of the 50 people who have signed up have over 50 reviews. If each person who has signed up would do 100 reviews (not difficult) then the band will raise $3,750. We only have 29 days left to raise the additional $3,000. This is a great opportunity that we cannot let go by!
